Home » Profiles » Linda Vernon

Linda is a co-owner of a family farming operation situated in West Liberty, Ohio. The operation specializes in raising Grass-Fed/Finished Beef and Lamb, which are sold retail, at Farmer’s Markets, and directly to customers for their freezers. This year, Linda and her adult children diversified their efforts by raising a small passel of Hogs, both for personal consumption and for retail outlets. Additionally, Linda manages a flock of laying hens, providing farm-fresh eggs to the local community and markets. Actively engaged in her community, Linda serves on the Village Business Association, Parks Board, and remains dedicated to her church. With a five-year involvement with the Land Trust, Linda currently holds a position as a Director on the Board, driven by a profound commitment to the organization’s mission of preserving landscapes and supporting local farms for generations to come.
