April King

Secretary, Board of Directors

April King is a lifelong resident of Logan County and lives on her family farm outside of Huntsville.

She is the News Director at V-Teck Communications in Bellefontaine, where she leads the newsroom for Peak of Ohio News, WPKO, WBLL, The Bull, and The Drive.

Beyond her work in broadcasting, April is active in the community. She is a member of the Bellefontaine Rotary Club, serves on the Indian Lake Schools Superintendent’s Advisory Committee, and owns Flatbranch Organics, a small business specializing in tallow-based skincare products.

Growing up on her family’s farm gave April a deep appreciation for agriculture, conservation, and the importance of protecting Logan County’s rich farming heritage. She is passionate about sharing the mission of the Logan County Land Trust, helping raise awareness about the importance of land conservation, and planning fundraising events that support the organization’s efforts to preserve Logan County’s farmland, forests, and open spaces for future generations.
