April King is a lifelong resident of Logan County. She lives on her family farm outside of Huntsville with her husband of more than 20 years, Douglas. Together they have two adult children, Jacob (21) and Emma (19). Jacob is as senior at The Ohio State University and will graduate in December of 2024 with a degree in Agronomy. Emma is a sophomore at Miami University in Oxford, majoring in political science.

The News Director at V-Teck Communications in Bellefontaine, April also is the Secretary of the Board at Discovery Riders in Bellefontaine, is member of the Bellefontaine Rotary Club and serves on the Indian Lake Schools District Advisory Committee.

“I am honored to be a part of the Logan County Land Trust. Growing up on my families farm I appreciate the hard work of farmers and have a strong desire to see the legacy of tradition continue through preservation.”
