Enviro-Camp

August 5, 2024 @ 8:30 am - August 9, 2024 @ 3:00 pm

We’re excited to announce the second year of a cooperative program sponsored jointly by the Logan County Land Trust and Kirkmont Center.

The Enviro-Camp will run the week of August 05 – 09 from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM. Students going into 4th grade are eligible to attend.

Each day will feature a different environmentally themed activity in the morning followed by lunch and an afternoon of swimming, archery, canoeing, fishing and other traditional summer camp fun.

The topics covered will be: observation, nature journaling, art, Kirkmont geology, birding, an interpretive nature hike, and honeybees and mason bees. We will hike ravines, learn watercolor technique, build mason bee houses, and engage in many other exciting outdoor adventures.

In addition, Tuesday evening, there will be a cookout and family nature night with NE Ohio naturalist Judy Semroc.

The 2024 Enviro-Camp is now full.
