
West-Central Cover Crop Field Day

A field day where you can get a hands-on look into cover crop practice, expenses, timelines, and benefits!
Whether you’ve been cover cropping for decades or have only been intrigued in recent years, this field day will have something for you!
Ohio State University Extension specialists, local farmers, and Logan County agricultural professionals will teach you the following concepts:
- Cover crops commonly in use and how to manage them
- Farm operations when cover crops are introduced
- How climate interacts with cover crop use
- Soil health
- Financial programs meant to encourage cover crop adoption
- How to create your own mini plot mix you can take home
So, if you’ve been intrigued by the practice before or are interested in the use of these crops, come join us!
